Kenmore washer no spin

Does the washer drain the water quickly?? Are there any error codes?? Usually the drain pump sump is clogged and not draining, thereby not letting the unit advance to spin.

After drying for 75 minutes timed cycle, my clothes are still damp. I also cannot get clothes dry on the normal cycle at all.

Things to check:

Make sure the dryer is heating up
Make sure the lint screen is clean
Check the vent to make sure it isn't obstructed or plugged (this is the pipe that goes to the outside)
Make sure the unit isn't overloaded
Check the spin cycle of the washer - if it isn't spinning out enough water for the load, the dryer can't make up the difference - sometimes this is as simple as a plugged discharge filter on the hose that goes to the drain.

Washer is not spinning fast enough clothes are wet at one point i think i put in too much soap and it said draining problem

If this is a HE front load washer. MAke sure your drain hose is not shuved too far down the drain pipe. Water will syphen back into the washer and clothes will be wet. Drain hose should be in drain pipe 8 inches. See you ownwers manual for drain hose recomemdations. Reason why it says drasining problem is because maybe water is sysphening back into washer and pump is taking long to drain and operating too long and washer senses it. So check your drain hose and make sure its not to far down the drain adjust if it is and wash your clothes and see if problem persists...hope this helps

I have a whirlpool gold ultimate care II electric dryer and have to dry everything on high twice to get it dried. any suggestions?

first how is the clothes out of the washer? That might not be spinning fast enough in final spin. When was the last time the dryer vents was cleaned. Do you have a flow out the vent? If so then something might be going on with sensors.

Clothes Hot but damp, water out of vent

Is this a combo washer/dryer in 1 unit? water shoud not come out if it is just a dryer. Your air coming out of the back vent hose should be hot. If your clothes comes out of your WASHER damp (more than normal) then your washer is not spin drying good enough. (worn belt, clogged drainage system).
