I have the same problem but.. Depending on what model you purchased it may have not even come with product literature. I purchased the 4gb model as a xmas present for my wife and there is no product literature available with the product. You have to go to their website and download it.

You can find the user guide on their website here:
    http://www.centon.com/support/installati...

I don't think any of these models even come with literature.. They come with a small card that has limited information about each model including storage space and photo/song capacity.

The problem is that even the product literature/user-guide doesn't include instructions on how to put songs on the stupid thing (lol).

I think I figured it out. After you insert the player into the USB drive, you can browse to "my computer" and it will show up as a separate drive (mine showed as drive i)..

After you open that up you will see one empty folder called "MICIN.DIR"...

For songs, don't create any subfolders or anything.. Simply drag and drop them (or cut and paste them) directly onto the drive. After you take out the device you will be able to play all the MP3's on the device.

Since this thing doubles as a USB flash drive, don't forget that you can still create folders. Like if you wanted to put your homework on this thing you could create a folder on the drive called "homework" and drag and drop anything you want into that folder(which is really cool).

Some models have FM radio capability too (but mine does not so I am unfamiliar with that aspect).

Cant load music on centon player. Says disk

If your "Hold" button is on, turn it off. The hold button write-protects the USB drive and you cannot add or delete files.

I have a centon 2GB Digital MP3 player. I plugged

Remove the battery, then put it back in, restart windows and plug it in,
make sure windows see the devise.

If you removed it while it was still loading, you could have locked the devise
from working, and you will have to send it to the MFG to get it fixed.

Go to there website and see how you have to send it back.

No instruction on how to upload or use the unit, can the battery be recharged?

There is a user guide for the Centon MoVex MP3 Player here (the manufacturer's support web site) . . .

http://www.centon.com/doc/guides/eng/movexguide.pdf

Since all Centon's MP3 players seem to be alike with the only difference in storage capacity, this manual may serve you . . . it did for me with my 2GB player (whatever make it is.)

As for charging the batteries, if yours is like mine, then the MP3 player uses AAA size batteries, so you won't have any internal battery to charge.

Hope this info helps.

Is there an easy instructions for using Centon Electronics moVox MP3, I have spent hours on reading the instructions and can't figure out how to use it. thanks

ok,not sure if these are the same instructions that you have but a user guide can be found at http://www.centon.com/documents/user_guides/movexmp3.pdf

wasn't 100% if you have the movex mp3(just plays music) or the movex mp4(plays music and video~)
as the picture on your question is of the mp4 so if you do have the mp4(has a big colour screen and plays video) here is the user guide link for that
http://www.centon.com/documents/moVoxMP4_Guide.pdf

don't worry if the guide doesnt help as now I can answer any specific problem you might have, get back to me on fixya if you still need help
you can also get to me on tim.otoo@gmail.com

I don't know if this will work for you but make sure that the hold button on the side of the mp3 player is not "on" - you have to slide it off.

Cant figure out how to add music

Hey jankey mp3,

According to information provided by the manufacturer, this MP3 player functions just like a normal USB flash drive. This means that the device should appear in the "My Computer" menu under either "Storage Devices" or "Removable Hardware."

As such, you should be able to use the standard Windows "drag-and-drop" option to load music onto the player. Simply click on the music titles you want to add, drag them over the player, then drop the music files into that folder.

If you would like more information, I would suggest referring to the owner's manual documentation for more detailed instructions or the following Centon website:

http://www.centon.com/pmp/support

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

Unused space on player

Well it's not really a solution, just a work around. I don't know why it does this but if you add a new folder you can load more stuff it that. At least that worked for me. I don't know why you just can't put it all directly on. Pretty stupid.
