My cavalry external hard drive is not being recognized by my PC. I stored a bunch of photos, videos, and music on it. It shows up as an unknown USB device. What do I do?

Try it in another PC and if it does not work i guess your hard drive might be infected by a virus and needs to be formatted. if it works contact me again.
