If you are referring to the thermal fuse on the tumble drier, my thoughts are that the airflow is being restricted.Cool air is meant to flow in the back air vent which cools the components. This causes air convection and allows the clothes to dry evenly. No airflow makes everything overheat and the first item to normally break is the overtemp. thermal fuse.Go from there.

Check for a blown thermal fuse or a faulty heating element. Both components can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity indicates a faulty component. The thermal fuse is about an inch long and is located just inside the rear of the dryer and is usually attached to or near the exhaust duct. Hope this helped and best wishes.

First you need to know your dryer over heated and the thermal fuse tripped for a reason.

You will need to replace the thermal fuse, thermal fuses are there to protect the dryer. When you have the dryer apart clean all the venting and vacuum out the dryer. Look online for a parts supplier in your area, you will need your model and serial number to order the thermal fuse they are about ten dollars.

how long is the venting, does it exceed 20 feet, how many elbows. Make sure the outside hood is clean
