If the fuse isn't blown then check the door sensor. If the sensor is not completely depressed or if it is broken off then the dryer thinks that the door is still open and will not start. The sensor is usually in the upper corner of the door frame.
Unplug the machine and check for a blown thermal fuse. It's located just inside the rear of the dryer and is usually attached to or near the exhaust duct. It's about one inch long and can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity means a blown thermal fuse. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Kenmore electric dryer model 110-620-36100. When it works, it works fine, but has been acting strangly (all intermittent) - beeping in mid-cycle, resetting for a new cycle unattended, periodically dead control panel, started on its own a couple of times, etc. Suspecting flakey microcomputer. Advice (besides an exorcist!?!), or experience with this problem? Thanks.
