This is a similar problem to #1723418. I have a brand new battery. When I plug in the camera to charge then the camera indicator will show charging and then advise "full". It may take 60 minutes for the "full" indicator to show. Then, when I switch on the camera there are only a few minutes of charge time available. and within 10 minutes the power is gone. Any ideas?
Batteries will lose their charge when not in use. If the battery is stored in the camera, the camera will use power from the rechargeable battery to maintain the time and date settings. This is normal operation for the battery and the camera.
NOTES:
Removing the rechargeable battery from the camera when the camera is not in use is recommended.
If the camera seems to drain the batteries too quickly even when it is not being used, service may be required .
That battery is not good.if the battery have warranty please give back and get new one. after that the problem continues, The charging control ic of the camera may be damaged
