GE Profile Arctica Refrigerator Displays OFF PSS29NGNAWW

My Arctica seems to be working, it is cold, making Ice, dispenses water; however, I cannot get the display to stop showing Off. I unplug it because the manual said it may be in Showroom mode and to unplug it and plug it back in. It does not say how to put it in showroom mode so I do not do it again; however, I followed those instructions and after setting the refrig to 37 and the displays shows 0 for freezer and 37 for refrig, once I close the door and reopen the display returns to OFF for both. The buttons on the Freezer display side will not change the temp display for the Freezer, only the Refrig buttons will take it from OFF to show the current Temp and settings. Everytime I hit the refrig control buttons and get a good display, closing the door or pushing the door switch resets them both back to OFF. Help Please.
