At a minimum you will probably need to provide the manufacturer and and model of the keyboard if it was an add on device or the make and model of the computer if it was standard equipment.

Keys not working

I would put the disk that came with it in the cd and in my computer explore the disk.
see if there is a folder for drivers. The specs say it will works with just about every operating system so you must have a vista driver on the disk.
load the driver and re-initiate the keyboard and mouse.
or reboot and see if it works better

Need drivers for xp and vista

Most KVM switches does not have a driver. Because these devices are simply Plug-n-Play and does not require any driver installation.

What you need to do is to check the system requirements for every KVM switches before purchasing it.

Here's the fact:
- PS/2 KVM switches are designed for PS/2 computers keyboard and mouse

- USB KVM switches are designed to work with USB. Meaning, if you're going to use an adapter (PS/2 to USB), there's a big chance that your KVM might not work correctly.

- Most KVM switches does not work properly with docking stations.

- KVM switches are tested to work with wired keyboards and mice.

- You have to make sure that everything is properly connected to the computers if you want your KVM switch function properly.

- Lastly, update the USB driver of your computers (XP and Vista).

- Most KVMs has a firmware upgrade that you may find in manufacturer's Web site.

It should work on Vista 32-bit. It says explicitly in the manual that it WILL NOT work with 64-bit Vista. I think you're out of luck, dude.

Logitech key board

if your special function keys aren't working properly while the rest of your keyboard is, then likely your problem is a driver problem. The keyboard should have come with a driver disc you can use to re-install them -or- they can likely be found at www.logitech.com. My advice would be to re-install the drivers for your keyboard (or "update" them). That will most likely fix your problem. Make sure you install drivers intended for Windows Vista, as many drivers for other versions of windows may not work properly.
