Lights, turntable, keypad - turn it on and it will seem as though it's working for as long as you set the cook time. But 3 minutes in the microwave and my cup of water is still ice cold - it just won't heat! Specific repairs idea for this model anyone? Thanks!
It has a bad magnetron. This is the tube that provides the microwaves to heat the food. Not too easy to replace yourself but it can be done. Cost of magnetron is probably less than $50 or $60.

when heating a box dinner & directions say 5 minutes, it comes out cold sometimes. seems like it does not have enough power.never had a problem like this with a new microwave.
