Hello, one possible solution is to verify if the date and time is correct on your computer. If the date and time are incorrect the security certificate will appear to be expired. If this is the case adjust the date and time of your system.

Thanks

Problem trying to use lyksys wireless adapter it blocks me from using yahoo or other sitesbecause it says security certificate is not valid

Check the clock on your computer. It could be that you computer clock is totally incorrect so it clashes with the time covered by the security certificate.

The web page cannot be opened due invalid Security certificate

There is nothing to worry about. This issue is just because of the date settings on your PC. Adjust the date and you would be able to log-on normally.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Good Luck!
Appreciate generously, if the solution could have been of any help!

I can not log in with my face book something about a security certificate issue

First check the date on your computer. If the year is set in the past (like 2001) then the security certificate will fail.

Certificate error on web site.

This is basically an Internet Explorer 7 Website’s Security Certificate problem! You have to self-sign the certificate on the client computer or add the URL manually to the trusted security zone. When you are trying to access a secure web page, you receive the warning message:

"There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority."

Or

"Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept data you send to the server."

To fix this issue, you can follow either of the methods:

Method 1:

You have to install the Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 (Windows SBS) self-signed certificate on the client computer. To do this, follow these steps:

  • In Windows Internet Explorer 7, click Continue to this website (not recommended).
A red Address Bar and a certificate warning appear.
  • Click Certificate Error button to open the information window.
  • Click View Certificates > click Install Certificate.
  • Click Yes, to install the certificate, when warning message appear.

Note: For Windows Vista users, right click on Internet Explorer icon. Select Run as Administrator.

Method 2:

Add the URL to the Trusted Sites security zone:

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Go to Menu bar > Tools > Internet Options.

    tool.jpg
  • Click Security > Trusted sites > Sites

    sec.jpg
  • Type the URL in the Add this website to the zone text box > uncheck Require server verification >Add > click OK

    trust.jpg
  • Click OK to exit.

Now you have added the URL successfully into the Trusted Sites security zone.

I am not getting open my yahoo email.

hello,

it's a issue on your web browser.

The exact reason is: a secured website ( https ) could not be opened, if a browser's certificate fails.

check your browser's version or update to latest version.

or

just add an exception on your web browser's security page. it's a simple option to take over to that website.

Does the Belkin_G_Wireless CC5A37 come with a authentication certificate?

What sort of certificate:
* this router was manufactured by Belkin
* or a security-certificate such as issued to your bank for their online E-banking web-site, to prove that their web-site is the "real" web-site, not a "spoof"

???

The answers are 'probably-no' and 'definitely-no'.

Internet Explorer cannot display web page

a couple things I've seen
- first the address as posted is invalid (can't find) but if you insert a dot (.) between parents and brickshools then it finds it (http://parents.brickshools.org/)

- if the corrected address is correct it looks like the site is redirected to a secure connection (https vs. http) and then the problem is that the site owner's security certificate has several problems as follows:

The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority. The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not yet valid. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. these issues were presented to me by Internet Explorer v7.0 - the main address functions (http://brickschools.org/) so it definitely seems to be a security certificate issue on their end. I would speak with the site owner. btw, I'm coincidentally in Toms River :)
