Fujifilm finepix a350

Cant seem to get camera to focus for clear pics on small or shiny objects. All pics turn out very blurred. Also shutter fails to come out fully (periodically) this has been a recent thing (shutter problems)

Re: fujifilm finepix a350

This is a common problem with this camera and it needs to be sent back to Fuji for repair.I've been through it three times and then they replaced the A350 with an A400 and now I'm having the same problems with the A400.
They want to swap it with a E500.
Both of these replacements are less of a camera then the A350.
If they won't repair it under warranty I suggest you stay away from Fuji cameras in the future,I know I will never buy one again

My Fujifilm Finepix XP21 takes pictures but always blurry and not focusing? Any body

Have you tried focusing before you take a photo? To do this, press down the shutter button on your camera but don't push it far enough to take a photo. This enables the camera to focus on what it's about to photograph before you press the shutter button again and take the photo.

I have a Fujifilm finepix S1600 camera and it has a yello camera symbol with an exclamation mark infront. I cant find out what it means, any thoughts?

The yellow icon is a warning that a slow shutter speed has been selected and to use a flash or tripod for the picture otherwise it could be blurry. An explanation can be found on page 27 and 28 of you user manual. A similar icon but in red and the letters AF will be seen if the camera has failed to auto focus.

I often miss a shot because there seems to be a delay when I press the shutter button on my Fuji FinePix A350 digital camera. Is there a setting I can change to speed up the process?

It's called "shutter lag"...a common problem with all point and shoot cameras. To avoid it, press the shutter button half-way and allow the camera to lock in the focus (it will beep) before pressing the rest of the way.

The pictures i take are blury how do i fix it

If you don't know how to use the manual focus switch it to auto focus, Check the MACRO feature, try to capture photos about 2 inch or 4 inch nearby the object, if the shots are clear and shooting in distant objects are blurred meaning you have set your camera to MACRO setting, Turn off the Macro feature

My fuji finepix s 7000 has only been used for around 6 months--I'm now getting some shots blurred and out of focus and some are fine. I'm using auto everything as I'm not very bright about manual...

if there is a red AF sign after it focusus on the right of the screen, then the camera was not able to focus, so either point the camera at something a similar distanceaway from the object, then, holding the shutter button halfway down, turn the camera so that it is in the position you want, or switch the camera to manual focus (but im guessing that you dont want to do that) also the shutter speed might be too slow, if it is dark where you are, try a tripod or monopod, or go to S in modes, and increase the shutter speed (but not so much that the apeture turns red), and dont use telephoto in low light levels

Fuzzy Pictures

When you resize an image (especially if the original image is quite large), you need to sharpen it before uploading.

Besides that, there's many other parameters that affect the image quality. The picture you uploaded here is too small to be properly examined. Make sure, in any case, that:

1) The camera has focused properly. Especially in items like the one shown (with multiple reflective surfaces), a camera can be easily fooled and focus on something other than what you intended
2) Make sure the camera settings are appropriate (ISO should not be too high, shutter speed should not be too slow)
3) Use a tripod for maximum stability
