Bush RF6694D TV (Service Mode)

Do you know how I can access the Service Mode for this model of TV. From reading the comments on here for other Bush models it seems to be possible, but they don't seem to work on this model.

Please help as I need to change the horizontal & vertical picture settings.

Yay, thanks Chris, that seems to have worked. Grateful if you could Email me the settings though, and also tell me which of them actually control the width/height size and positioning, I think I worked them out, but may have tinkered with some that I shouldn't have!!!

    My Email is stuartplymouth@msn.com

    Thanks again mate!

I seem to have managed to switch off the ability for it to switch between 16:9 and 4:3 (oops!)

It used to do it automatically (eg when watching something on UKTV Gold), but now I can't even force it to change. It's always 16:9 (stretching 4:3 - very nasty!)

I have this tv and the original remote, but the menu will only operate in Spanish. Does anyone have the owner's manual for me so that I can change the language to English?

Hi.

I may be able to help you but I need to know the chassis number of your tv set.
This will be on the back of the set on the same label as the model number or if not there it will be on the main pcb.
It could start with AK, or PT.

    Hi Stuart.

I will have a feret through my stuff over the weekend & see what I can find to help you.

If I cant find the exact paperwork I will let you know which ones to alter.

If you can post pictures of your tv set on this assistance page showing the faults you have got and state what mode tv is in EG 4:3, 16:9, Subtitle, Zoom etc

Please be very carefull when you alter the settings DO NOT alter the numbers in large amounts going up or down you can end up causing the tv set to cut out it will then be very difficult to reset it & you will end up either needing the eprom IC reprogramed using pic programer or at worst replaced.

And you dont want that to happen so near Christmas.

    Regards Chris.

No there is nothing hidden menu in that. If the menu is available then it must be visible. I think you should take help of the Manual to set your configuration. And might be an TV Authorised person can solved it.

Restoring factory settings on Bush TV model LT32M1CA

There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Bush IDLCD26TV16HD blue flashing light?

It is on protection mode due to some defects on the board. Switch off the TV manually, remove the plug and cool it off for 48 hours and retry. If nothing works, better refer it to a qualified service technician.
