How do I get to the impeller on my Hoover steam vac dual v to get to the rotating brushes to fix their rotating

First, there is no impeller that turns the brush. It is controlled by a turbine assembly. There is the brush with the middle stem (know as the brush block) and the turbine turns the brushes.
Turbines cost $39.00
Brush Block Assembly cost $34.00

How do you install a split hex flange bearing?

The split hex flange bearing fits on the front axel assembly of the Troy-Bilt self propelled mower. To install it, remove the front wheel to see if you can access the old bearing and pop it out of its position on the assembly. If you cannot reach it, you'll may to detach the axel assembly from the mower itself. You'll find the old bearing behind the plate that attaches to the mower frame. You may have to remove a nut that holds it in place, then remove the flange bearing itself. Put in the new one and reverse the procedure.

All that being said, it's hard understand how you would know that the split hex flange bearing needs replacing if you haven't already disassembled the axel assembly to check its condition. If the bearing, itself, just fell out and someone told you what it was, he should know how to replace it.

This bearing should rarely need replacing. If it does or if it just fell out then you likely have much bigger problems than just replacing it.

Circulation Pump

If the dishwasher is loud during operation, and the noise is a continuous drone similar in speed to the circulation pump sound, it's likely that the circulation pump motor bearings have failed. Once this happens the circulation pump will have to be replaced, the bearings are not repairable.

Pump and Motor Assembly

If the dishwasher is loud the motor bearings, drain impeller or wash impeller might have worn out. All three of these components are part of the pump and motor assembly. It may be possible to replace one of the impellers, but the motor bearings cannot be repaired. In that case the pump and motor assembly will need to be replaced.

Wash Impeller

The wash impeller is a small, plastic blade. The motor spins the impeller forcing water through the spray arms to clean the dishes. If one or more blades has broken off of the impeller the dishwasher is loud. The impeller can also scrape against the pump housing if it is damaged, warped or bent.

Water Inlet Valve

The water inlet valve is an electrically controlled water valve. When it is new, the water inlet valve is very quiet. Over time, the diaphragm inside the valve deteriorates and deforms. This deformation interacts with the water rushing in and can cause a loud vibration, buzzing, squealing or other noises. If the dishwasher is loud during the filling cycle, replacing the water inlet valve may solve the problem.

LG wash machine # wm 2277 hb front loader display flashes LE wont

It is a locked motor error. One of the following is causing the problem but you may need the help of a qualified appliance technician:
  1. The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the motor harness is not connected to the connector (3-pin, female, white) of the stator assembly. Connect them properly.
  2. The electrical contacts between the connectors (3-pin, male, white) in the motor harness and 4-pin, female, white connector in the main board assembly is bad or unstable. Clean the connectors and connect them properly.
  3. The motor harness between the stator assembly and main board assembly is cut or open. Reconnect or rewire.
  4. Motor winding is defective. Check the resistance between the terminals of the stator. Resistance should be between 5 to 10 ohms, else replace the stator with part number 1266809. Price ranges from $100 to $150.
  5. The hall sensor is out of order/defective. It is located at the stator assembly. If the hall sensor is out of order, it cannot detect magnetic field and the main board sees it as the rotor is locked then displaying the error code. Replace it if no evidence of defect is found above. Part number is 1268238 at about $25.

The fan blade can be removed from the shaft. You just need to pop the lock washer off and pry the fan blade. You most likely will not be able to remove the fan blade without damaging the blade. You can buy the replacement fan blades online. The part number is 5901A000. Here is a blog on the entire replacement motor assembly. http://nutoneproducts.typepad.com/nutone-products/2009/08/nutone-0695b000-replacement-bath-fan-motor-for-model-qt80.html
