Re: trojan horse generic
You could also click Start -> RUN and type Regedit.exe. In regedit, go to HkeyLocalMachine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Run and delete the entry that points to the file.
Open explorer, go to where the file is located and delete it. If it can not be deleted check processes under Task Manager *(right click on task bar and select Task Manager then select the Processes tab) to make sure the process of the same name is not running and if all else fails run CMD, change directory to the offending file's location and rename it - reboot - then delete it.
More complicated than scanning, but good to know if you don't already have antivirus installed (obviously) and don't want to use Hijack Free or any of that garbage.
First, go in Control Panel, after System, then System Restore, and desactive all.
Restart the machine in Safe mode, and run a AntiVirus (like a Norton) restart again, check the file, if not missing, the solutions is search in web (or in Symantec.com) a Virus Remove Tool, OR, in DOS delete a infected file, for full asistance install a HiJack Free and send a email to me email@example.com

A Trojan Horse is full of as much trickery as the mythological Trojan
Horse it was named after. The Trojan Horse, at first glance will appear
to be useful software
but will actually do damage once installed or run on your computer.
Those on the receiving end of a Trojan Horse are usually tricked into
opening them because they appear to be receiving legitimate software or
files from a legitimate source. When a Trojan is activated on your
computer, the results can vary. Some Trojans are designed to be more
annoying than malicious (like changing your desktop,
adding silly active desktop icons) or they can cause serious damage by
deleting files and destroying information on your system. Trojans are
also known to create a backdoor
on your computer that gives malicious users access to your system,
possibly allowing confidential or personal information to be
compromised. Unlike viruses and worms, Trojans do not reproduce by
infecting other files nor do they self-replicate.
The Trojan is a type of virus. You know, like the Trojan Horse legend ... the Greeks sheltered in a huge wooden horse presented as a gift to the people of the city they were trying to conquer and when the people of the city brought the horse in, the greeks killed them all. The same idea is with this Trojan virus. It hides in an suspicious program and when you run that program it starts to do some damage.
The best way to remove the virus is by using malwarebytes. Download and install it and update it before running. Scan your computer and remove all infections and quarantine items. Then restart your computer and viruses will be gone.
To download the software click on the link below : http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
Step1: Disconnect the PC from the internet. Step2: Use a different pc or laptop to download a good antivirus trial version and install it in the infected pc. Step3: Scan all the files until you find the trojan horse(WARNING THERE WILL BE A LOT OF INFECTED FILES!) Step4: Remove All found infections and restart your PC. Step5: Now that the ttrojan is removed you PC should be fine. if it is not then you will need to flash your hard drive and pc. reinstall windows and start all over.
To resolve this problem the easiest way are
1) User Trojan Remover http://www.simplysup.com/
--> Update the definition at the time of installation
---> Scan whole system
----> After successfully removal of trojan uninstall the Trojan Remover
2) Manual Methods
Requirement :- Linux Live CD
-> boot system with Linux Live Cd
--> Mount all drives
---> Locate infected DLL files and Trash them.
----> Restart system into Windows
