Question about Sony KP-51HW40 51" Rear Projection Television
My television turns on fine but within just a few seconds/minutes the screen fades into a full blue screen. The only way to get the picture back is to turn off the tv and then again I only get a few minutes at best. I have already reset the tv, turned it off and let it sit for five minutes, moved all other electronics away from the tv and still it fades to this blue screen. Please let me know if anyone can help. Thank you.
First reduse the G2 voltage for the blue c.r.t,and watch if the unit works for longer period (offcource blue colour will be not present). After reducing G2 voltage to blue c.r.t still behaves the same than c.r.t is faulty and you have to replace.
Pls count the red led blinking when it goes off, incase it goes to std by mode.
