Question about LG VX9400 Cellular Phone

Vx9400 Delayed Response

Frequently, my 9400 delays in its response to pressing the button. i.e. if I hit the send button to answer a call, it may ring 2 or 3 more times before it actually answers! Frustrating! Almost looks like a memory or processor problem. This is my 2nd one and they both have done the same thing. Help!

Try and get rid of text messages you have saved, make sure you check your sent texts as well and remove any programs you do not use off the phone.

My remote does not work, is there a test I can do or setting o My nikon 80

Set the camera's shooting mode to one of the remote modes. Quick-response remote fires the shutter when you press the button on the remote. Delayed remote gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before firing the shutter.

Press and hold the shooting mode button (just to the right of the control panel on the top of the camera, marked with overlapping rectangles) and turn the main command dial (on the back) to cycle through the different shooting modes. The quick-response remote mode is represented by an icon of the remote control. The delayed remote mode is represented by the remote icon and the self-timer icon.

Nikon ML-L3 set up for Nikon D90?

Set the camera's release mode to one of the two remote modes. Quick-response remote mode fires the shutter when you press the button on the release, while delayed remote mode gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before firing the shutter.

To change the camera's release mode, hold down the release-mode button to the right of the LCD panel on the top of the camera (marked with the overlapping rectangles) and turn the command wheel on the back of the camera. The icon at the top-right corner of the LCD panel will change. The quick-response remote mode is indicated by a picture of the remote, the delayed remote mode is indicated by both the remote and the self-timer (one-handed clock).

How to use nikon ML-L3

Set the camera's shooting mode to one of the remote modes. Quick-response remote fires the shutter when you press the button on the remote. Delayed remote gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before firing the shutter.

To set the D90's shooting mode, press the shooting mode button (the overlapping rectangles to the right of the LCD panel on the top of the body) and turn the main command wheel on the back. Quick-response remote shows a picture of the remote control unit, the delayed remote shows that and the clock (the same symbol used for the self-timer).

The remote mode is cleared whenever the camera is turned off. Since monitoring the infrared port consumes battery power, the camera may turn itself off before you take a shot. To prevent this, change custom setting #C5 to something more appropriate.

Need help using the wireless cable release

I assume you're refering to the ML-L3 wireless remote control.

Change the shooting mode on the camera by holding down the shooting mode button and turning the main command dial. You want either delayed remote or quick-response remote. The quick-response remote fires the shutter as soon as you press the button on the remote, the delayed remote gives you two seconds to hide your hand behind your back before the camera fires.

Why isn't my remote firing my camera?

Do you have the shooting mode set to one of the remote modes? If you don't, the camera will completely ignore the ML-L3 remote.

Press the shooting mode button and turn the command dial to either the Quick-response remote or Delayed remote mode. The Quick-response mode fires the camera as soon as you press the button on the remote. The Delayed mode gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before the camera fires.

Delayed keyboard response on Dell Inspiron E1705 Laptop

Is the mouse response sluggish as well during these times?

In most cases, it means the computer is busy with another process. The keys you press stay in the keyboard buffer until the CPU has time to process them.

Check your CPU busy time when this happens. In Windows XP, press ctl-alt-del to start the task manager, the select the processes tab to see if one process is tying up the system (by % of CPU), or press the performance tab to see CPU usage. If it is pegged at close to 100%, something is tying up the system.

Fax problem

Pending faxes are faxes whose transmission has been delayed either deliberately or unintentionally. Normally, when a fax cannot be sent at the first attempt, the fax machine will redial the recipient's number. If you choose to delay sending a fax, the machine will send it at the time you select for transmission. During the delay period and at any point up to completion of the call, you can cancel the delayed transmission by deleting the fax from the Pending Faxes queue. To do this:

Press the Fax button on the operator panel and then press Options (once only). The Pending Faxes menu will be displayed.
Press Select. If a fax is pending, the printer will display Cancel Fax (the fax number you dialed appears below these words).
Press Select to delete the pending fax.
In response to the Are you sure? prompt, press 1 for Yes ( 2=No).
Press Options (once only). The Pending Faxes menu will now display None.
