I Updated graphic driver and also removed screen cover and also checked connections under screen.. I also unpluged connections and reseated them. No luck there.
The pc color is beautiful on a monitor but pictures and screen saver look like a negative film on the LCD screen. Colors are mixed up on color charts on photo programs. Example: White s black.
Thank you in advance.

- Thank you for the fast reply. I was having problems when I updated driver. I also backed out the driver. I reinstalled it and that is when I decided to remove screws and check connections. I did completly remove the screen, I did reseat the connections. I feel like if it is the drivers then it would not be so perfect on monitor. Puzzled and expect to have to buy new screen.
Was the screen showing all OK before you updated the driver? If so did you try backing out (uinstalling) the graphics driver? You mentioned gtaking screen cover off ... did you completely remove the screen from the laptop, including the wide connector at the top and the smaller one at the bottom, and the small one to the backlight? These connectors might be seated wrong, and you'll have to reseat them, mostly the big one at the top. Best o'luck, Moorethemerrier!

- After you backed out the new driver, did the screen perform as expected, or not? I assumed that the un-update didn't make the display work, and you figured that it had to be something behind the screen? Actually, as I'm sure you've discovered, there ain't much behind there. There's no way you could put the connectors on wrong, or in a wrong place. If you left any one of them disconnected then the screen would be blank. Bottom line, the "upgrade" driver seems to be bad, and you are better off without it.
If you've damaged any of the connectors on the scfreen though, you'll have to get a new screen, I fear.

I HAVE A MICRON Trans Port TREK 2 model no. NBKU376. when i first got it it had windows 98 well ive installed xp on plenty other computers before, and have the factory os disk. so of coarse i wonted to upgrade. so i put the disk in and booted from disk then formatted with NTFS and went to setting up. well it goes all the way threw the file coping and reboots itself and gets to about 34 minutes on the setup complete countdown and goes tl black screen. thought it was just going to suspend or something but either way the only way ive found to get it going again is to hit the power button, it then starts off at the countdown again and repeats itself.
