  2. i use 'image capture' software and a the usb part of the cable.
  3. try to hook up camera before turning it on.

How do I export pics to a mac.

Well, the way I do it I just plug it into the USB port using the cable supplied with the camera and it usually appears on the desktop, from there you can go to the "DCIM" folder and there may be subfolders, but in those subfolders are the images, and you can just click and drag them into the pictures folder in the sidebar. same as windows

I went from XP to windows 7 64 bit and now my cyber-shot camera is not recognized when I try to download pictures. Sony couldn't figure it out.

If you connect CyberShot Camera from a USB Cable, check the cable once. If that doesn't solve the problem, Choose Mass storage option from the Camera Menu when prompted. I think it should work.

I have an 8GB memory stick duo. took pics and downloaded them ok. deleted from my mac-when i reinsert the stick into camera (Sony DSC T9 6 megapixel cybershot) it says formatting error. help

That's because you used your Mac to erase the pics from the card instead of the camera. Now, to get it to work properly, you need to format the card in the camera.

Sir,
Yes the problem is common. Window is different from Mac OS. At mac u can't viewed some menu and other options. U must shortcut keys to do it. Click the help menu in quark and search it for shortcut keys.

Memory card error is common problems in various sd cards and cf cards. I took a closer look at my little SD memory card. It has a sliding lock on it to protect data. Check to see if the card works when you slide that lock up or down. Read more about memory card:
