Re: cybershot 7.2 mg pics

  1. check your operating system. i use OS X. if you have an older operating system, the software may not match up. visit mac help.
  2. i use 'image capture' software and a the usb part of the cable.
  3. try to hook up camera before turning it on.
  4. also, you may want to try to use a card or memory stick reader instead.
  5. hope this helps some

How to copy pics to pc?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I have an 8GB memory stick duo. took pics and downloaded them ok. deleted from my mac-when i reinsert the stick into camera (Sony DSC T9 6 megapixel cybershot) it says formatting error. help

That's because you used your Mac to erase the pics from the card instead of the camera. Now, to get it to work properly, you need to format the card in the camera.

I try to take a pic but it says 'no memory space on memory stick' ...even though I just deleted photos via the computer...?!?

Never delete using the computer...the camera doesn't recognize anything the computer does. Now, you need to format the stick in the camera to get it working again.

Twain error message w/ cybershot dsc-f505

do you use a card reader? or do you connect the cam to your pc to download the pics? best way to transfer the images to the pc is a card reader, but some readers wont accept a memorystick with "lock" turned off, so for example if you have a 128MB memorystick, turn write protect on. switch to "off" position (it is a small switch on the stick) then the card reader will "see" the stick, but erasing and writing is not possible with the pc...

Memory card error is common problems in various sd cards and cf cards. I took a closer look at my little SD memory card. It has a sliding lock on it to protect data. Check to see if the card works when you slide that lock up or down. Read more about memory card:
