Fan is hitting sides and makine a rubbing noise

- First check and see if you have any movement from the shaft that looks like it is moving side way and not clearly spinning smoothly. To get to the fan and the motor you need to unscrew all the screws outside housing after you take the unit outside in a clean place that allow you to work safe. You start taking the bars around the fan and undo the screws and bolts that secure it to the frame. After you get the fan out take the 4 bolts out from the back and open the housing from both sides and see on each part you will see a bully attached to the covers these bullies need to be replaced and you can get the parts from any repair place for washing machines or electric parts..if you are in California I can give you some names but I do not know your location, replace the bullies and reve3rs the process…do not oil the unit and when is it open try to clean the condensing unit and all parts inside...let me know how that work for you and please do not forget to rate my service so we can improve on it with your help.
