Question about Refrigerators
Kenmore refridge/freezer just stopped working. I hear a little sound from the back that sounds like the motor, but freezer nor fridge is cold. Somehow freezer temp on the dial was warmer than recommended temp from manufacturer. Maybe it was hit by accident, but 4 hours ago I readjusted temp but no response from freezer. Did the motor blow or do I need to wait for temp to readjust or do I need to reset the fridge some kind of way.
. Cut everything off for a few minutes then turn it back on
and listen for a click from the compressor relay as the compressor tries to
Is the compressor motor running. If no check starter/overload relay.
Check to see if the condenser fan at the back underneath near the compressor is running. If no check fan.
Are the condenser coils near there warm or room temp. should be warm
How to check stuff>

Tips for a great answer:
Jan 01, 2016 | Kenmore Freezers
sounds like a defrost problem. remove back freezer panel and look for ice on coils which restricts air to the Ref.
Take your mod number to an appliance parts store and they will sell the parts to fix the defrost system. Most all parts are in behind freezer Panel at the coils.
