I have a GE Profile Triton Dishwasher and it has worked fine for about 8 years. Suddenly it will not reset. The reset light blinks after reset but you can not choose a normal cycle afterwards. I shut of the machine by pulling the fuse box. I turned it back on but again it will not reset?

- Great so how do you "unstick" the key pad?
How do you even open the key pad control box?
Thank you so much friend,

Hello, how are you?
It sounds like you have a stuck key on the keypad, preventing you to push any other key.
I've seen this problem many times in the past 4 years.
Good luck.

- Hello, my friend.
You can't unstick a keypad unfortunately.
Moister gets in the pad and shorts it.
Unfortunately, you need to just replace the pad.

Thank you so much...what should I expect this to cost me for parts and labor Ned? Should we just wait and buy a new dishwasher? A new one $248!
