Where do I find drivers for Optimus 5.0 digital Camera

Do you really need a driver?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( ).

My G7 will not take a picture whilst the flash is on, if I turn the flash of it takes a picture no problem.

You have a distorted image problem which could be caused by a few things on that camera. Try this site: They just specialize in service for the Canon Powershot Cameras and the good thing with them is they have the distorted image fix on their site for the G7. In other words, you don't have to worry what's causing it, their repair packages fix it no matter what the cause. The nice thing with them is they are not expensive at all and they do the servicing for the camera too. I hope that helps, that's where many go for help on the Powershots.

My operation lamp stay yellow, camera has good battery but will not take pictures.

Sounds like a problem with the board inside of the camera. The only thing to do is to try a new set of Lithium batteries. If the light stays yellow no matter what setting the camera is on then that means that the camera is bad and would need to be replaced.

My dsc-t70 had diet coke spilt on it. pictures are bright+white.

I'm afraid so.
I understand that you cleaned the lens (externally accessible elements)?
In theory fixing this might be a matter of stripping the camera and cleaning it up (preferably with isopropyl alcohol), but this is fairly fiddly and it's easy to make things worse.
In any case, liquid spillage onto any camera might cause unpredictable effects. I noticed that coke spill is often not as bad as water as coke doesn't corrode the tracks on logic boards as rapidly and instead turns into "sticky goo". However, due to its stickiness it often causes various mechanical issues. Light distortion could be caused by the shutter stuck on open. Well, in any case, unless you are happy to tinker with your camera and completely strip and clean it, I can only suggest ebaying it for parts. Even broken t70s still fetch good prices.
Good luck,

Purple tinged camera screen

all you have to do is, (Now, I know this may sound crazy but it will help) Take apart your camera. Disconnect the black cord wrapped around the blue cord. Pull out the yellow cord out and throw it away. That yellow cord is a virus which is causing your screen to go purple. Now reconnect the black cord and unwrap it from around the blue cord. This will cause your screen to not only turn back to normal but to hold 2x the space of pictures you would usually hold. If this doesn't work, then stop being lazy and buy yourself a new camera. Yes, I'm talking to you granny!!

Good day my fellow American citizens. I really do hope this works. Thank you for your time. ;)

try to put the camera when taking pictures on 'A' and putting it on the 3rd option of flash from the bottom and the 2nd from the top. Try not to move the camera too much or have the people in the picture move too much.
