  • tonya6321 Sep 20, 2009

  • tonya6321 Sep 20, 2009

There has to be some way to get the option to use digital output and speakers.... really dont want to buy another set of speakers to make the sound work... not sure if its disabled in pc some where like i said i have looked every where that know of to look but that does not mean im not missing something...

  • tonya6321 Sep 20, 2009

  • tonya6321 Sep 20, 2009

so i tryed that lol there are no disabled devices... they only show the one i told you about... how would i know if the sound card was bad?

  • tonya6321 Sep 20, 2009

What i need is the realtek high definition audio software the one that lets you sue the green jack in the back of your pc not the one that uses the square funny looking jack that is what i am missing.... just not sure how to get it or find it or what ever am i making any kind of sence?

  • tonya6321 Sep 20, 2009

Its a desk top not lap top... and its 32-bit im thinking. and i have used the speakers on a different pc and they were fine... not sure where the sound card is in the tower to take out and try on a different on... would really like to find a way to get the drivers that give me a choice to change from one out put to another before i go buy another sound card and try it

  • tonya6321 Sep 20, 2009

soundcard is in the mother board so cant take it out and try on different pc.. still thinking that it has something to do with the different slots the speakers can be plugged into tho just dont know how to get what i need

  • tonya6321 Sep 21, 2009

its in the mother board so i cant do that and no i think it is something with the different slots to put speakers in cause the one its trying to use is working... its just not the one i want to use i dnt have that kind of speaker... it is however making a beep noise now that it was not maken before when i click on something that is running or what ever

    Hi

Try using another set of speakers/headset to check if its not a fault in the jack/speaker.
If you are using Windows Vista then go to
Please go to control panel-> Sounds-> open it and then click on configure to test the speakers, if test is not successful(no sound) then go to properties from sound dialog box opened and check for Properties-> device is enabled & from advanced tab check if the 24000bps is selected.

If you are using Windows XP then

    1. Open the Control panel.

    2. Open the "Sounds
      and Audio Devices" icon.

    3. Verify the "Place
volume icon in the taskbar" checkbox is
checked. If this option is not available or is grayed out, skip to the next section of this document.

    4. If you were able to
check this box, click ok and close out of this window and the Control
      Panel.

    5. Double-click the sound
icon in the Systray and verify that all the sound volumes are mid-way or
      higher.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

    Thanks

Yes, I think you have uninstall the drivers for your sound card. You can download and instal the drivers for your HP A6010N from this link---

Please open control panel-> sound-> right click on the playback window and select the option show disabled devices-> from there enable the other device and disable the one which you are currently using.

Now check for the Studio option. This will surely resolve your issue.

To check if sound card is bad connect any other speaker or headphone. If you don't have a spare one then the only way to confirm is by removing that sound card and testing it in another laptop. I hope you are also not able to hear any sounds from the built-in speakers as well. If sound is there from the built-in speakers and not external speakers then either speakers/speaker jack is bad.

You can install the realtek drivers from the link i gave you earlier or from your motherboard drivers & utilities CD. First try uninstalling the previous version of realtek drivers from Control Panel-> Programs & Features-> Realtek Audio drivers-> Uninstall. Restart the laptop and then reinstall it again. After the re-installation restart the laptop again.

Yes, please take out the sound card and try it with another PC. I don't think that it has something to do with the different slots the speakers can be plugged because you have already tried and checked all that.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

The beep indicates the issue is with the sound card as it might be loose and you need to check it, or get it checked and I think the issue will be resolved.

I had some kicker 6x9 cs693 installed in my 2002 camry rear deck and when they returned the car the spearkers are not producing much sound or bass. I am using factory stereo and also the factory 6x9 on...

first check to see that the fader is not programmed to the front speakers fading it rear might solve your problem, second if your stereo has a 4 ohm load requirement at the output and your new speakers are 8 ohms this will cut the power output in half, your best bet is to get an amp if these do not solve the problem.

Sony DAV-DZ660 Theatre system. How can I change the output volume and tone for each speaker please?

there should be a speaker set up button on your remote, it will play "white noise" through each speaker in your system, one spearker at a time, as each speaker plays you can adjust its volume, the idea being to balance the system to sound good from your sitting position. try to get each speaker to be appriximately the same volume level. If you have the manual for this system, this setup should be listed in the index or somewhere.

I don't believe your Bose speakers are digital, you need to change your audio settings on the output to analog speakers.

How do u hook up the infinity entra sub it has speaker level(input and output) that look like these red and black spots r for spearker wires and then line level input so I connect my music to the rca plugs...

Maybe if you described the setup with exact model numbers for everything involved we might be able to answer with specifics.

You could poke around her for the Entra Manual for YOUR model.

http://manuals.harman.com/INF/Hom/Owner's%20Manual/

What they do NOT explicitly tell you is that the amp in the sub is not for your other speakers running off it's Speaker Level outputs. They're just there as a pass-through if you use Speaker Level from your own amp.

Line Level (RCA) IN to the sub will NOT pass anything out those Speaker level outputs.

How do i get the hdmi working from my acer5536 to my tv

Connect your HDMI cable to laptop then change the setting in audio output to HDMI digital output

For toggling the display you need to press the Fn and F5 together

If you have sounds already playing on the laptop, then you must switch your default to the HDMI then go and re open the program ie itunes. Any other program playing sounds on ur laptop speakers will continue to play through the lap top speakers...

On VISTA do this
Right click your screen
go to personalize
on the left there is an option "connect to a projectror or external display"
Click the speaker picture, and set the default to HDMI by right clicking it and selecting make default.
Close your media programs, and then re-open them and hit play..
