Question about Linksys WRT160N Wireless Router
These routers are crazy! I bought one and have found that the security is way too much for a little router ; )
Try this! Reset the router from the back. There is a little button that you hold down for approx. 15 seconds. Reinstall the router without any security passwords. Use it and see if you get the same results. If not, then you need to choose security that is compatible not the one that is the highest security settings. The one you want to choose is WEP security not WAP. WEP is for a home network and is compatible with all wireless devices. WAP is more for a small business enviroment and has less support of older cards; this one is the new G wireless.
Be sure and run a complete virus and malware scan to make sure your conncetion is not hijacked.
