Right side venting for Samsung dryer DV448AE

I've just bought a Samsung dryer DV448AE which I wish to vent to the right - there is actually a knockout on the right or left of the machine for side venting. I've looked everywhere for a right side venting kit...no such luck. I could make the internal ducting myself, measuring each length required and cutting the ducting, easier said than done, but this seems a bit ridiculous.
Does anybody have any ideas of who would sell side venting kits?
Thanks

How do I change the exhaust venting from rear to side on a Maytag Model MGD7500AWW?

you should see a knockout panel or cover at the side, remove this and fit vent to side.
It is important that you blank off the outlet where the hose was fitted originally

How to change output vent from side to bottom on my Fisher paykel de05-us2 dryer

It should be able to be accomplished by using an adjustable 90 degree elbow you can buy at a local HomeDepot or Lowes. The elbow should be 4" four piece adjustable ell. The radius of the ell should match perfectly with the knockout on the bottom when slipped over the discharge opening of the dryer.

I have a Whirlpool Calypso gas dryer, vented in the back. Can the venting be changed to vent out the side?

some dryers have a round "knockout" on either side which would allow for different venting options. You also need to check the ducting inside the machine to determine if it can be re routed without causing a sharp bend or kink that would cause over heating and lower efficiency.

Moved dryer to a new home. Dryer vent comes out of the middle of the dryer. New home vent is next to the outside wall so i have a bend off the dryer vent and then a bent to the out side vent, Can you...

Some Kenmore dryers have a knockout at the back, lower corner that can be "knocked out". If you have one of these it can be vented out through the side. If the knockout is there, a kit is available for the venting. Just go to www.sears.com and under the parts direct tab enter your model number aka 000.00000, and search out the kit.

Install side vent for GE dryer

Unlike some other dryers that have knockouts on the side and allows the vent to come out the side I don't believe this one does. The air duct has the rear discharge outlet built right into it. Since it sounds like you don't have enough room to put a 90 degree elbow on the back of the machine, which would move the dryer out about 6 in, you might try one of those square duct dryer fittings. See link for example:
http://www.northlineexpress.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=5CO-89638&source=froogle&kw=5CO-89638. If you had to you could put this 90 degrees, and continue it out with retangular metal duct.

Change dryer vent from side to rear

Not all dryers have the facility to vent out of the side, if they can , you should see a knockout panel or cover at the side, remove this and fit vent to side.

41780042990 Kemore electric dryer

you would need to "punch out the metal" , youl also need to remove the fron tof the unit(2 screws approx 3-4 inches down form inner panel, holding front panel on, ( youll need to remove the top of the dryer( a few screws across the back of unit.) andthen disconnect the dryer belt(easiest acess through a small acess panel on lower rear of unit, pull the dryer drum out and youl see the existing ve, just a matter of attaching a 90degree elbow and running vent out the side instead of out the back. DISCONNECT POWER TO UNIT FIRST!!!!!!!!!!
