Re: This mouse is jumping around on me

After reading this page and attempting driver updates I called the place I ordered it from and they sent me a new one of the same model. It doesn't have the jumping around problem the previous one had. It's a problem with the mouse itself that can't be fixed with software. The mouse is bad.

Re: This mouse is jumping around on me

If you are using the scrolling mouse, u can clean the balls of the mouse and use it.
After that i recomend, use the mouse pad for the smooth working of the mouse.

The mouse doesn't move smoothly it jumps around the page and sometimes doesn't move at all.

This could caused by batteries, a dirty detecting mechanism, or a bad signal. If the mouse has replaceable batteries, put some new ones in. Now turn the mouse over, If it's an optical mouse there'll be a little lens. Put a little glass cleaner on the tip of a cotton swab, and thoroughly clean the lens. Use the dry end of the swab to buff it. If there's a ball, take it out and clean the rollers. There may be dust wound so tightly around the rollers that it seems like they were made that way. Finally, make sure the mouse is close enough to the receiver, and that the receiver isn't blocked. You may try plugging the receiver into a different usb port. Cleaning the mechanism is probably the most likely thing that you should try first.

My touchpad jumps around or the arrow won't move

Keep the palms of your hands away from your touchpad.
Just being "close" to the touchpad is enough to move the mouse-pointer.

I cannot pan with the mouse in Autocad or Revit.

Go to START > CONTROL PANEL > MOUSE ..... Here you will find the Logitech settings. On the BUTTONS tab, you will see a diagram that numbers the buttons on the mouse as well as a table that shows what each button is assigned to. In this table, double click the number assigned to the mouse wheel (usually button 3) and reassign the wheel to MIDDLE BUTTON. This should restore your Autocad pans.
