Ibm pc camera
I have an ibm pc camera hooked up to my pc.
I install skype latest edition.
I can see myself.
on a laptop down stairs i can be seen but I can't see the lap top person
on my p.c.
what could i be doing wrong.

- I ran the disk and reloaded the software.still the same problem.
the lap top with the logistic camera
receives the image from the other computer
and also the image from itself.
the p.c camera projects the image of itself
(me) but it dosen't receive the image from the logistic on the laptop.
It does receive sound from the lap top but not the lap tops image.
could the problem be with skype.?

Hi,
Is the webcam installed properly on the laptop (I suspect that this is the problem)? Is the webcam Logitech? If so, install the driver and software again from the CD that comes with it (you can also download from their site). Made sure the cam works with their software, then run skype and it should work.
