Run a fused wire from your battery to your amp location. Ground amp to chassis, let ground be no longer than 20 in. For remote turn on wire, run a wire from your fuse box, to your amp and plug it into the R.E.M. slot on the amp. remember to put a switch in the wire somewhere easily accessible from drivers seat so you can easily turn your amp on, and off. If the switch isn't off it'll drain your battery when your car's not on. To attach signal wires, make sure your amp has highlevel inputs, splice wires from your speaker wires, and hook them up to the H.L. inputs on your amp. However, my advice as an audio enthusiast, and experienced installer is get an aftermarket unit. Sound quality is much, much better. Less distortion, better radio reception, much better music tuning ability. A good unit can run you a lot of money but, if your planning on driving this car for a long time, invest in an after market unit, you will not regret it. But if you don't want to then there's your instructions, if you have any more questions, please ask..

Installing a sub into 08 dodge caliber factory radio

Check for female RCA line signal output.

I don't think factory radio will has RCA output.

It does not hurt to check.

'04 Nissan Sentra S factory installed subwoofer wiring diagram

A FACTORY INSTALLED AMP/SUB WILL BE WIRED INTO THE VEHICLES FACTORY WIRING JUST AS ANY OTHER COMPONENT. YOU WOULD THINK THAT YOU WOULD FIND THICK POWER AND GROUND CABLES ALONG WITH RCA CONNECTIONS AS YOU FIND WITH MOST INSTALLS.NOT THE CASE HERE.YOU MUST FIND THE HARNESS THAT HAS THE POWER AND GROUND CONNECTIONS ALONG WITH THE INPUT WIRES FOR SOUND. YOU MUST OBTAIN A VEHICLE SPECIFIC WIRING DIAGRAM THAT HAS THE WIRING FOR THE SOUND SYSTEM PACKAGE THAT CAME WITH YOUR VEHICLE. YOU MUST THEN WIRE IN THE BLUE REMOTE TURN ON LEAD FROM YOUR UNIT TO TURN THE AMP AND SUB ON WITH YOUR RADIO AND NOT YOUR CAR BATTERY. YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO FEED SOUND TO THE AMP USING ONE OF THE REAR OUTPUTS FROM YOUR RADIO.

Have stock radio # F75F-19B131-AA its in a 1998 F250 need to know how and if i can hook up one Amp for the two door speakers, and if i can hook up an additional Amp for some subs. Ofcourse if radio can do...

You will need a line level converter for starters (takes speaker level signal and converts it to line level/RCA signal) you connect this to the speaker left/right wires and it has a RCA left right on other end to connect and run to your amps, (you need this box because factory radios don't have RCA outputs on them) At that point all you have to do next is run the power/gnd/rem for your amp and then speaker wires to your front/rear speaker and then sub (if using). You can use one of these converters for your front/back speakers so you will still have use of your front/back/left/right fading options. make sure you disconnect th factory plug/harness at each speaker since the amp will be powering them and you will run speaker wires to each speaker. If you only want one converter it will be on your front channel and your sub will be power by the front. (you will fade to front for more/less sub bass unless your amp has a separate volume/bass control). If you want your sub to fade with rear speakers you will need to install another converter off of the rear speakers. Found a site with some photos that may help you with your project.

Subs on stock radio

chev stock radio does not have extra plug in for sub. to run your sub, im assumed you also going to run an amp to it also. there are no addition plug in in the back, but that does not stop anyone if you know how to rig things. i would not recommend rig wires on your 2007. I would install a new radio before rigging that car; than add a sub. keep in mind most of GM radios come with stock amp built into the radio itself. If you cut the wires from the radio and wire it to your sub amp you will get nothing but distorted sound. anything sound goes to any amp need to be pre-amp in order to work properly. hope that help some

Installing subs, how to use rc converter

from the rc converter i connected to the rear speakers taking both positive (left and right) to the positive on the factory speakers, then done the same with the negative (left and right) to the negative of the factory speakers. i connected with a quick connect. then from the converter to the amp using rc's. since my battery is in the trunk, the only wire i had to run through the car is the remote wire from the radio to my amp and then my subs to my amp.

Sub not working after installing the jensen vm9022 deck

reinstall the factory radio use a digital volt meter to see witch wire supplies voltage when radio is turned on and off, note placement on harness then verify this wire is hooked up on the output side aftermarket harness you may have to jump it to get the maps to turn on. tip you can carefully pull unused wire from harness example (dimmer wire orange white) and move it to the position needed to keep it a clean install .
