This was not the problem for me. I could open and close the dvd tray, but it was permanently saying reset. Of course, there is no reset.

I put it in the garbage and went out and purchased a Sony.

Trying holding the open/close button until the DVD tray opens.

I had this problem and took in to JVC to fix under warranty. Have not had problem since.

I cant get my dvd player to power off so that my tv can come back on. I keep hearing the dvd player make a sound but off is constantly displaying on it. I cant get my tv back on and i keep hit the power...

Remove the power and manually turn the loading mechanism to eject the DVD whichis struck up inside the player. Now if the DVD circuit seems to hang up again you can disconnect the connector to the main board to switch on the TV.

When trying to copy or print, the printer turns off and on again and again constantly. Then I press the cancel button and the yellow light with the voltage triangle turns on. If I unplag and plag again...

Good Day Ggirvas!

I advise you to press and hold the cancel button for at least 5 seconds. Release only the cancel button when the printer restarted itself.

You can now print or copy normally again.

Let me know if the problem persist and I will help you further.

Display not lit up

Seems like the display panel went bad. You can check for sure by unplagging the unit for 45 seconds and plugging it back in. If still no display order a new display panel.

DVD displys "loading" constantly

First of all if it is still under warranty take it back and exchange it or have them look at it. As far as it not wanting to turn off you can search for a reset button on the back of the unit. Reset it. Or if no reset button just unplug it and plug it back in. See if that helps. As far as being jammed. Unplug the unit. Very carefully take the unit apart. See if anything has been accidentally placed in the unit when a dvd was pushed in at the same time. I have experienced this before cause I have little kids. Things happen. Now there again by taking it apart could void any warranty you may have. Also something in the unit could also shorted a circuit out causing it to not turn off.
