Re: printer

Its probably a head alignment problem
Control Panel/Printers right clich on the printer icon and select Properties
Select the Maintenance tab
One of the options is head alignment chose that.
It will give you a printout of the 9 head alignments (A to K).
Update each to the value which shows solid printing on the printout.
Save changes.
May as well clean the heads while your there as well.

You can adjust it thru the settings it is like the menu, all is being adjust there including the color, contrast, bright etc.
It really depends on your need so the choice is yours, adjust it the way you want.
Good luck!

There are lines that look like 1/8" spaces about 1" apart throughout the entire picture. what's wrong?

Sounds as though you have not changed the settings for phot print in printing preferences.

Our HP laserjet M1522n has a vertical line going through the paper when using the top feed. the line doesn't appear on copies made thru the computer or on the flatbed, only thru the self feed. any one??...

If you open your "self feed" cover, you should be able to see the scan glass that originals pass over to copy. Clean that glass thoroughly. There is some dirt or whiteout (liquid paper) on it which causes the shadow or line on copies. Let me know.

Please try to uninstall and reinstall your printer.

Clean your printer heads.

Perform a hard reset to your printer.

Print a test page.

Try using a different bond paper.

Make sure you are using original canon cartridge

If still you get an error. Replace your printer heads.

We need to know how to use the scanning facility on the R127 phot

Scan to folder is only possible by using Scan router software which you can download from gestetner site. Try to check the setting thru Web browser. Log in as an admin and see whether you can configure scan to email. you had to place so many settings to do this.
