What do I do if the Yamaha 350 warrior won't start by the button but when you jump start it, it runs fine

HOWDY howdy DaleBohn,

Well... I dove into this thinking it was an ATV.. but conventional CYBER wisdom lists more "Warrior" bikes than it does EVERYTHING else.

Macht nichts: Check for a fuse between the STARTER Switch
and the SOLENOID/Relay... Most common source for the constant battery "B" LEAD is THE SOLENOID/Relay..

Before EVERYTHING Else: check for fuse.

Then... the easy FAST (likely) way is get 3 prices on YOUR starter Relay/Solenoid... Buy one and put it in... If that fails...

(Store GOOD STARTER solenoid (you always wanted)).

then buy a VOLT METER and get all scientific...

To wit:

The point of this operation is to determine why the battery...

With your new VOLT-METER and possibly an assistant
(if your arm is not long enough) ...

You are going to operate the MOMENTARY starter switch...

During operation you should see 12V battery on both wires...
(Battery & Start) Means switch is good switch...!!

"B" terminal having constant battery = GOOD
(else: fix battery wire to START switch (not likely)).

"S" BATTERY only when start is active = GOOD
(else: replace switch (not likely)).

Happy hunting...

I can't download iTunes. I'm using windows vista.

Right click the iTunes install program and click "Run as an Administrator". This will give you full access. Letme know if this works!

What version of Vista are you running??? (eg Home Premium x86 or 64bit, etc.) and also, is your account a Limited or Administrator???

Also, have you installed Quicktime or iTunes ever before on your computer with Vista??? If you did, you have to login to the account that installed it before.

Vista is really weird with quicktime and iTunes., so basically your problem is that you have to be on the user name that installed quicktime, using the "Run as Administrator" option. Ive seen this before with Vista and it has to do with ownership permissions.

Is Calendar Creator v12 compatible with Windows Vista. System Requirements on pkg reads Windows XP (Home & Pro), SP3.1, Pentium II 300 MHz processor faster, etc.

It's my best understanding that it is not compatible with Vista. Were I you, I'd do a search something like "compare Calendar Creator 12 to" and review some of the programs that would pop up to see if any of them look like a possible solution. Also, you might want to make sure they'll run on Windows 7 toward the chance of a later upgrade on your part.

It might be of interest for you to know that W7 Professional or Ultimate Editions come with the opportunity to download (free) their XP Compatibility Mode software which will allow you to run any XP program that is not scheduled to be formatted for Vista or 7.

Use Add/Remove Programs to remove that '1.05' version.
Visit the ALESIS web-site, and click on "get support",
and tell them that the '1.05' version does not work with 64-bit Vista,
and ask them what they recommend.

High speed fan

the thermo switch determine how high and how long the fan need to run to obtain the proper temperature, it will be a consern if the fan doesn't run.
as far as the upgrade of your machine. do you have enough RAM (2GB minimum) and how is the CPU?(1.6GHz or better) can the CPU handle the operating system. Since you didn't mention that, and by reading what you say, I believe the machine is not able to handle the Vista, that is why the fan is running at high speed and non-stop. The CPU is getting hot, and the power supply is pulling lots power.
Vista loading takes approximately 1-2 minutes, dependent on how many applications you have installed and what you have on the desktop.
roll back to XP from Vista is no possible, the only way is to reformat and reinstall XP.
