Hi there! I have a big problem with my ASUS W3J! First of all my problems starts with that I turned... (More) Hi there! I have a big problem with my ASUS W3J! First of all my problems starts with that I turned on my laptop and the screen doesnt turned on, I only heard the sound when my laptop turned on, then I turned of and try many times like 5 till 10 and in this time I remove battery and close the lid and than after couple times it turned on and everythink works fine. Sometimes the screen turned on at the first time, sometimes it doesnt, only after some 5 times... Soo but after some 3 months my laptop starts working very slowly and I decide to reinstall windows. First of all I cant install vista and windows 7 because my BIOS version ir 207 which doeasnt allow me to install Vista or Windows 7 . So I turned on My ASUS W3J and its turned on and when windows xp turned on after some 5 minutes everything breezed I cant move mouse cursor and I cant do anythink - yhan I turned off my ASUS and restart, than he show me some error on windows screen everythink goes fine after that and than again I cant do anythink... When I bought this ASUS W3J it comes with windows XP Profesional reccovery CD - so I tried to recover windows (I did it before with this laptop and it works fine). Than he ask me to "please press any key to load from cd" or somethink like that, I press enter, than he ask me "what I wanted to do" and give me a 4 options - I chose 4 option to make a C and D disks, so than he ask "do I realy want to recover" - I chose Yes, than He ask "do I need to start recover?" I press Yes and he start to recover process after some 15 minutes or maybe 10 I saw that he hang on I cant do nothink it just stand on 25 % amd thats it.. I wait about 20 minutes - he dont do nothing and I turned off laptop, than turned on and when I want to stat again recover he show me tha error report that "failed to boot C" or something like that and just show black screen with comand log... when I start normal my laptop to go to windows he show me that: "please chose some different multimedia device or something like that.. and do nothing... please help me what happening with my ASUS W3J why I cant recover windows (what I did many times and follow manual instruction)? Do my hdd is broken or maybe my video card ir also broken or some video card drivers are broken, because he also once show me the error, that some problem with my video card or video card driver... but it was only once on all 3 years when I have this laptop only on the same day when all that nightmare happens. My laptop newer falls down from table or somethink like that! Please help and maybe give me some advice whats going on, because I dont have no idea! Thanks a lot Best regards walters
