hmmm well theres 2 options 1)press the "play" button and hold it for 15~20 sec. then charge it. if it still doesnt charge then hold it down for 30~50 sec. if that doesnt work then im sorry i cant help you with this problem..but heres another option 2)go to best buy or where ever you went to buy your ipod.. simple as that
The problem is with the battery or the USB cable. Check the cable first if there is any damage replace it,if there is no damage then the problem is with the battery which is not charging get it replaced and ur problem will be solved..
If you have any other problems please feel free to ask..
Depending on the kind of shuffle, it may just be a simple software reboot. My firstgen did the same thing for weeks. If you have a second computer with iTunes, plug it in there, and wait for a message that will tell you if the iPod is corrupted. Follow onscreen instructions to reinstall software. you will lose all your music but the iPod should be working again.
The first problem is probably a software incompatibility between Creative's software and Windows Media Player version 11. The second problem is possibly a need to replace the battery. 3rd party batteries are about 20 dollars now.
If the light is flashing, that means it's charging, but it's possible
you're not getting enough charging current to really make a difference.
I would try charging the player with a wall charger (can you borrow a charger from a friend?)
do you have the remote and if so have you tried to do a reset?
Most likely your battery is dead. As in cannot be charged anymore. The good news is that the battery is replaceable. You can sometimes find them on E-Bay for around $20 and they are fairly simple to replace.
