as it is washed out fully you need to put it in front of hair dryer for a while and do it for some time if still it is not working

get it repaired from your local service center they will definitely give you the solution
The firmware needs to be reflah on the phone so you can go to www.topsony.com this is not a free site or take the phone into a mobile service center and have the phone reflash there.

It has a variety of tools you may find useful.
FYI: The Sony support documents and website indicate the phone will only support MicroSD cards up to 512MB. However, users report using up to 2GB cards with no problem. (If you want to store lots of music & photos.)
