According to the manual, "Located beside the keyboard are application buttons. These buttons are called easy-launch buttons. They are: WLAN, Internet, email, Bluetooth, Arcade and Acer Empowering Technology." Pressing the Bluetooth button should toggle Bluetooth on or off, assuming the correct drivers are installed.
Download the full user manual from Acer here: http://v.gd/eoMupe

Most of the Acer Models do not have Inbuilt Bluetooth. Usually i would say, use Bluetooth Toggle, rather than Purchasing a kit. A Bluetooth toggle is just like a Pen Drive. You need to install the CD and load the software. Once Loaded, insert the Toggle in the USB of the Computer and synchronize it with other device.
First of all check that you really DO have a BlueTooth unit. Acer uses the same chassis for models with and without Bluetooth, so the button being there doesn't mean necessarily there's something under it.
For example this one 7535G on eBay does not have a BlueTooth.
Check the Bluetooth is active in the BIOS, and if you have a single button model ("one button to rule them all") check the button configuration - there should be an Acer hotkey utility somewhere to do that. Very often, the button is set to control only one device between WiFi, optional internal cell modem, and BlueTooth. Normally that is WiFi. Set it to "Both". This, I repeat, if you DO have a 'single button' device.
Also, check you have the original Acer drivers. I once mis-installed a set of wrong Widcomm drivers without realizing it, and almost went crazy troubleshooting it.
just try to check with drivers, which is provided with the laptop..
if this not help then take it to service station and ask them about the circuit of bluetooth. if it is available then tell them to put appropirate drivers.
cause in many acer model they give an option of bluetooth but there is no bluetooth. they provide u and slot for that. for ur future options
this might solve ur problem
have u install the driver (software) for it?. if yes then look at the taskbar where u see bluetooth icon then right click on it then click on configure or anything setup a wizard will come up for instruction.thats all.
NB u can as well do this from the control panel
