Question about Dell Microsoft Intellimouse
Vertical movement of cursor is not functioning; horizontal movement ok. I was able to move the cursor to post here only by opening the mouse case and manhandling the inner microswitches and pc board. How can this fault be corrected? Thanks.
Open the mouse
remove the ball
you should see two support shaft for the ball
check whether they are rotating
clean them if you can
if they rubber shield of shaft is damaged try replacing them with valve tube you usually use in a bycycle tyre
clean the transistors standing near the shaft flywheel using a soft cloth
it will be fine
