KODAK CAMERA PROBLEMS

-   camera will not turn. on battery only a few day old, when trying to turn on green light flashes a few times then red light flashes a few times then stops. tryed taking battery out and reinserting. tryed giving a little tap-   mommacub

-   I have the same problem. Kodak Easyshare cx7430 suddenly only shows red light when I turn it on, no matter what batteries I put in it. I know at least 2 other people that have had the EXACT same problem, rendering their cameras inoperable for no apparent reason.

I think maybe kodak designed these to fail forcing people to buy new cameras after a year or 1.5 years.

Won't be buying Kodak crap again, that's for sure!!!!!!

-   My easyshare z885 is not even two weeks old and I have the exact same problem. Turns on long enough to extend the lens and then shuts itself off. I have contacted kodak and will see what they have to say. I was going to take it back to the store I bought it from, but it is comp usa and they are going out of business so they are not accepting returns. Bummer!!-   Guest

-   Same problem here! I attempt to turn on my camera, and it blinks green for a second then starts blinking red and turns off. I know my Kodak rechargeable batteries are fully charged (and I've tried leaving them in the charger overnight in case, to no avail), and I've also tried purchasing different kinds of batteries, but nothing is working.

If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated. Is my camera completely broken?

-   I have a Kodak Easyshare C643 that suddenly acted like the batteries were dead. I tried 4 sets of new batteries and the camera won't even power on. The camera is 13 months old.
Any suggestions?-   runyonc2001
