Question about Saeco Vienna SuperAutomatica Coffee Maker/Espresso Machine

Water does not get to main compartment

Hope you can help: garbage bin is empty, my water tank and beans bin are full, I press ON button - the coffe grinds. But no coffee comes out of spout. The garbage bin now contains dry coffee, i.e. not the wet tablets of disposed coffee. So my guess is that water from water tank does not get through. Oh, and the red LED eventually comes on.
Any ideas? Thank you.

Re: water does not get to main compartment

Try priming the machine ( find the plastic gizmo that came with the machine for this purprose..can you get water from the steam nozzle?..there is an internal water filter that may become clogged if you aren't keeping the water tank clean.

Barista supremo thinks it doesn't have coffee beans The red light comes on, doesn't it? The light indicates that the water tank could be empty or the drip tray is full. Tell the coffee machine that it has enough beans, but to please the machine you will fill the water tank and empty the drip tray. Good luck, kolbrun

Have a delonghi Prima Donna 6700 coffee machine and get this message

Hi there coffee person.
Have you tried disconnecting the machine from the power supply. As well as that check if there are enough coffee beans in the bean in the compartment and enough fresh water in the water tank. Not only this but is the compartment with the coffee "tablets" - full or empty. Fill or empty accordingly. Connect to power again, if the machine does not work the only advice have from here is "to clean the machine" as described in the manual or as you are used to.
Good luck

What does it mean when the green LED light and the alarm light are both permanently on at the same time. There is a full tank of water, service door has been opened and shut and the dreg drawer is empty...

Hi, Turn off the machine and turn back on again. If both lights are permanently on that means you need to empty the dreg tray. Pull out the tray and wait until the red light start flashing, then put back the tray, the red light will go off.
Another meaning is when you press the coffee button and see the red light came on, that means the grinder motor is not working. Hope it will help.

Grinder runs with NO beans inside

Fill beans before they run out!
If you hear the grinder running empty, press the same button you pressed to start making coffe to cancel the current cup -or, if some beans were ground, stop the water a bit earlier to make a shorter coffe using the same method (press the button you pressed to start the cup). The auto-detect of beans missing is a very minor and largely useless feature.
