new engine or starter motor????
stalls. which engine, exactly
all engines have unquick fueling and spark and lots more.
which one? of the 8. (even gas and diesel)
Did you install the bearings correctly, did u pack the bearings right?
You cant tighten down the bearing nut alot, you have to tighten it down, spin the rotor around a few times, losen the nut back up( like barley touching the bearing and then put the nut crown and cotter pin in
Check the linkage and make sure you havent diconected anything. If the engine revs and kinda crawls real slow it might be the clutch. If it revs and desnt move and all your linkage is good it could be your tranny.
push the clutch pedal all the way and see if the slave cylinder pushrod is going out at least an inch, if not replace the slave cylinder, if it does goes out, sad to say but you have problem somewhere else inside your clutch assembly
you have a linkage problem its either where the shifter is in the floor there is a ball there that wears out and causes this. or its loose at the transmission just pop the hood and visually inspect the transmission and the shifter linkages see if any are not connected. if its connected and tight on the trans then you know you need a new shifter in the car. they are not hard to replace.
