I have an Acer n311. For the past few months after I have been using the pda for about 3-4 minutes the screen freezes, and none of the buttons respond (to switch it on or off). The the only way to get it to work is to remove the battery and re-insert it, and do a soft reset. But often it will again freeze during the boot-up process.
I thought it might be the battery, but a new battery has made no difference.
Anyone able to help?

I had the exact problem. Except now it's worse. I used to overcome the problem by performing a hard reset and loading the bootloader (for some reason it didn't wipe the memory), but now even that doesn't work anymore. and my pretty little Acer PDA is just a useless slab!

I am thinking about a hard reset if this is possible with it freezing every time it boots up. That will be my last resort if there is no other way.
