Any time the unit is on, it makes an awful loud clicking/popping sound. Sometimes it only does it a little, but most of the time its very loud and very frequent.

The audio outputs are intermittently shorting to their supply and allowing DC voltage to pass - the speakers will be damaged if it continues. you can confirm this by measuring (with a dc voltmeter)at the speaker outputs for DC volts.

Refrigerator is louder when it turns on maytag performa side by side model psd262lheb

sometimes, as the machine starts to get a little age on them, the Freon flowing through the unit will get a little loud during the first minute or so of cycling on and for about a minute after unit cycles off. could make banging sounds, popping sounds even might sounds like water running or rain. All those sounds are normal operational sounds. I would not worry about those sounds unless you start to notice a slow temp. increase in the next few months. If you start to notice cooling issues, then I would start to get concerned about a sealed system issue.

Popping noise

it's the aluminum defroster coils cooling after a defrost cycle.
a padded aluminum foil-covered mat installed behind the defrost heater in the back of the fridge is a fix at least for Samsung I know.

Why do my speakers pop and the system turns off?

sounds like it is going into protection mode, but you have supplied very little info as to why it does this, does it do this staight after turning the unit on?, was the unit driven to loud for a long period? or the power supply may be faulty which is probably the best solution, what sort of system is it?

Noise after the motor starts

Is this a clicking or a knock/pop sound? The knock knock sound can sometimes be helped a little bit by tilting the refrigerant filter drier (located in the compressor compartment) to a horizontal position. Ask your technician to do this for you.

HP Officejet 6210 will print but with terrible clicking noise

Ok this Sounds Crazy but it worked for me and its easy to try. Unplug the unit and pick it up and turn it side ways and gently shake it. Sometimes a small piece of plastic has broken loose and is interfering with the works and if you can dislodge it from its current location it will stop. Be careful not to hurt youself doing it. Also, I have one printer with a missing tooth on one of the gears and has been growling at me for a long time.

Onkyo SR606 - Loud Poping

It could be a number of things,
1. an electrical short in the house. Try plugging it into another circuit with an extension cord.
2. A bad RCA cable that is input from one of your sources.
3. its probably a bad unit if you have Zone one and two playing at the same time the same source, but it only happens on zone 1.
4. a bad speaker can make a poping like sound, does it happen on all speakers? unplug all but one and one at a time try to determine if the problem sticks, if not, then one of the speakers is out of phase or blown.
5. Playing music froma computer source will sometimes make a pop if your computer is slow or bogged down with checking emails..etc. mine sometimes studders PPPPPPPrioRRRRRity CCCCCLLLLLLLLEEEEERRRRANCCCEE AAAAAAALLLLPPPPPHAAAA OOOOOOONE.
it also pops real loud when booting or shutting down.
Personal note ........windows is such a hassle for Media systems.

I hope something here helps!

Poppng sound and flashes on screen

The Blu-Ray will not cause this problem and in my experience the popping or arcing is coming for the ysus, zsus, or one of the buffer drive bds. When I hear this complaint it is normally not long until a loud pop is heard and the unit will go dead. Most times the ysus bd fails, sometimes the zsus bd and sometimes both.
