My Nokia 1100 has a 2degree sim card in it after going over from a Vodafone sim and now cannot send txt messages, although it can receive them and also send and receive voice calls. Gets error messages like"unsupported message type delete message?", or'message cannot be displayed". Message centre Nº on phone appears to be correct.

You can try to recover txt message by the following ways, but you should make sure that you have a backup. 1.Recover from Sim card, if you have copied the messages in sim card.
2.Nokia PC companion, you might installed a pc companion in computer to manage your phone on computer conveniently, and the application will make a backup fpr your phone when you connect it to computer, if you have set the funtion that:"automatically backup".
If you do not have any backup, I am afraid that you need to recover deleted txt messages by recovery software. look here: Sim card txt messages recovery
Please try by restoring your factory. Menu>Setting>Restore factory setting. or press this code *#7780# and if you want to format it than try this code *#7370# else please check your message center number from your friend or family that they are using the same service(s) like vodafone, aircel, bsnl, airtel. from there check their message centre number whether it's the same number or not that's in your cell-phone. If it's not same than correct it and try.
Hi,
This is my suggestion, try using another sim card with the phone and send a message. If this work it means the formal sim card is having a problem.
Contact your service provider to and explain to them that the sim card can not send message and it will be rectify.
Regards.

This means the memory can't take anymore information in such as contacts, inbox messages. If you see that this problem is caused only in Inbox of the Mobile ( As you said it is doing it during sending Message, and sending message requires Inbox space ), then the problem is in the memory card. Also go into the File manager ( Menu > Tools > File Manager ) and from there to Phone Memory options and to Memory Details. There must be a very little left space. Check it and reply me. Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.
