Problem for Sony DVP-NS55P DVD Player
Insignia tv ..can't get sony dvd to work
I just bought a Insignia 42in Hd tv and am trying to get my Sony Dvd player to work ..
when I turn on the dvd .......the Tv still stays in tv mode...
I use to have to set my other tv to channel 00...but the insignia auto found all the channels and I can't seem to add a 00...
any thoughts or am I that dumb

You most likely need to set the TV to the input source where the DVD player is connected (e.g. AV1, HDMI2, etc.) Without knowing the model number of your TV, I can't be more specific. Details on changing which input source you're viewing should be in your TV owner's manual.
