Sounds like the unit is liquid damaged you may want to take it to a service center

DROPPED PHONE IN TOILET! BEEN 3 WEEKS AND IT STILL VIBRATES CONTINOUSLY

Thank you for choosing FixYa. Your phone should have been disassembled from the point you retrieved it from the toilet. By this I mean all ports opened and battery removed. Then you put it in rice. This should **** all moisture from the phone as much as possible.

******** won't stop vibrating.

Gumby,

Unless you live in a climate with near 0% Humidity, the bag of rice fix will take longer than 24 hours.

Give it three or four days back in the bag and then try it.

It sounds as though its bouncing back nicely

Vibrate stopped working

Pls check your battery power if it has gone out. If the battery has gone out then phone might not be able to draw enough power from it when vibration mode is on.

LG VX9400 won't stop vibrating

you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

Good...Vibrations?

Hi, I'm a cell phone techician and I see this everyday. If this happened within 24 hours DO NOT put the battery on the phone, take it out immediatly. Samsung for some reason can withstand liquid (some) unlike Nokia and Motorola. If it happened something like two weeks ago or it was a salt water pool then forget about it because it will have to see someone like me and I'm in Canada. But if it was relativley recent damage in a standard chlorinated pool I recommend putting it in a long sock and spin it over your head as fast as you can this procedure will force the water out. Don't let go or you'll injure yourself or innocent bystanders. This is very important...Hold it very tightly.
After 30 seconds of spinning place phone in hot sun for a few hours. Try the battery the next day. Really though you should remove the four screws that hold the back, take it totally apart and spray canned air into it.
