Well there is a few quick fixes but non of them last
and it voids the warranty and may go horribly wrong
and then it's an X xbox.
There is one legitimate fix , and it does not come from
the texas repair center . The fix is to have the G.P.U
re-flowed to the main board then just as important have
the Chip set ( properly clampdown ) most forget to mention that
but its critical for the repair to be long lasting .
But if you can get a replacment for free from Microsoft
Do that then when its out of warrant get it fix right.
Tgis is known as the Red Ring of Death. It is caused by hardware overheating in almost all cases. The only legitimate fix is to contact Microsoft support and arrange to send it in for repair. Sorry there isn't a quick fix. Hope this helps.

I just got done fixing the RROD issue. And I heard a popping noise when I was testing it out on top of the housing. I think that I might have blown a circuit or relay or something like that. I have limited schematic and soldering knowledge as it mostly pertains to armored tanks and hummers, lol. So if an engineer or someone with extensive knkowledge with this system could help my sons and I would be greatful. Thank You. SSG T
