Back cover brother DCP-720 laser printer

Open the front cover, out of the cartridge, on the left is a direction knob, you should already be rotation in the end. You remove this side of the three screws, pull down the knob, adjust to the other side and then mount, screw....then ok....

BACK COVER OPEN

The back cover sensor is detecting the back door is opened. Open and close the back door firmly to fix this message.

Dcp 7020 "Back Cover Open" lights up even after it

Try doing a power reset.

Turn off the printer/Unplug it for a few minutes/Plug it back in/Turn it back on.

I have a brother DCP-7020, I recently changed the Toner, and the printer still thinks the Toner is out, when it's brand new and full. I have restarted & disconnected the printer to no avail, any...

There seems to be a semi-magic routine to reset the toner counter on the DCP 7020. It is, I quote,

"Open the front cover.
Press options button.
Press the start button.
Press + or up arrow button 10 times.
Press set button.".

This ought to be done with a "pause" of 2-3 seconds (between keys, I'd think) to avoid the system resetting and having to start over.

Brother dcp-7020 printer shows error back door open.

open the front door then pull away your ink cartridge then clean dust or blur from ink cartridge position then refix ink cartridge again.

Back cover error on LCD won't go away

This is most likely caused by the back cover switch. It is either broken or the lever on the back cover is broken off.

If the Brother machine was turned off and then turned on again with a paper jam in the back of the machine, the message "Back Cover Open" will appear on the LCD. To resolve issue clear paper jam go to :-----
