Button configuration probz

Bought a Genius maxfire blaze 2 controller but have a problem with the button configuraion. The lay-out of the buttons differs from that shown on screen so to speak. For example button no.1 is where the game (and manual of the hardware) shows button no.4's supposed to be. Only butons that are correct are the directional buttons. There's no place where I can assign the keys to correct the error as the hardwear does the callibration etc. automatically.... Anyway I can fix this?

Re: Button configuration probz

Hey guys, I have been looking for a driver for my InterAct Magnum 6 joystick. What a run-a-round. I finally figured out that the drivers for the joystick was on Windows 95 and 98, you did not have to download them from the cd, just add the joystick driver through windows hardware wizard. So I went to windows and found tons of drivers for that was supported at that time. here's the site;

Hope you find what you need. They have drivers up to XP. Happy hunting.

Try "Control MK". Just google it an get it for free on the net. You can assign almost any function to any button

Bought the saitek headset how do configure to talk to the tower in the fsx game

You cannot talk to the tower in FSX, only via third part software and then the button you wish to use would be configured within that software (such as Live ATC),

Controller up down mode has reversed

To shift into reverse, press the Downshift button (the X button).
The default control configuration also features Auto-Reverse—when you hold the brake down for one second while your car is at a complete stop, the car will automatically shift into reverse.
To turn off Auto-Reverse, or to change your controller configuration, choose Options on the Main Menu, and then choose Controller Settings.
See the picture below.

Hope it helps.

I want to use it to play maple story but i cant set the actions to the controller

1.Plug your controller in.
2.If your controller came with a CD I would advise you to install it. If you have XP+ chances are your computer will probley find the new hardware AKA (plug and play) and install basic things to make it work.
3.Download JoyToKey. JoyToKey is a program that enables you to transfer keyboard motions or buttons to the controller. The only problem is that you cant combine keyboard movements like lets say you want button 1 to be ALT+f4 you cant do that. I have provided a link to download JoyToKey. It is 311kb. 4.Open the program and click File>Create New Configuration File.
5. Name the configuration.
6. Change the keys by clicking on them and pressing the button that you want your controller button to be. So lets say you want the right arrow to move the analog right than move the analog right. Or you want esc to be button 9 than press button 9 for the esc field.
7.When you are done just click on the Profile for the game. Notice that in the zip itself I included some of my Profiles for MS. Its more of a PS2 PS1 configuration. So if your a hardcore gamer than you might catch on quick.

UltraRacer playstation 2 controller programming

Here's the instructions on how to relocate buttons:

1. To assign one button (i.e. "R") to perform another buttom function (i.e.
"Z"): Press and hold the SET button for about 1 second to enter the
"FUNCTION SETUP MODE", the FUNCTION SETUP LED will illuminate and two beeps
will be heard.

2. Press the button (i.e. "R") you would like to reassign one time, the
FUNCTION SETUP LED will blink once and a single beep will be heard.

3. Press the new, desired function (i.e. "Z") one tim, the NORMAL LED
indicator will illuminate instead of the FUNCTION SETUP LED. Two beeps will
be heard. The setting process is now complete.

The UltraRacer will only return to its default setting when the buttons "A",
"L", and "R" are pressed at the same time BEFORE you turn on the console's
power. After about two seconds, the UltraRacer will generate three beeps to
acknowledge reset button configuration is set. To reset a particular button,
first press the SET button, then press the relocated button twice and then
press the SET button once more until the LED light goes off. THe button's
original function is used as a default button for further relocation.

These instructions were told to me bay a company selling these controls on AMAZON. I have been trying to reprogram mine and cant figure out where the "R" button is.

Wireless controller position

Try this:
Under heading "How can I change the screen positions for my wireless controllers?"

To reset the screen configuration for an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller:
  1. Turn off your Xbox 360 console and any connected Xbox 360 wireless controllers.

(To turn off your wireless controller, power down the system and wait for the lights around the controller's Xbox Guide button to disappear.)
  2. Manually turn on your Xbox 360—don't use your controller's Xbox Guide button.
  3. Press the connect button on the front of your console. This is the small button just to the right of (or below, if your console is on its side) the port for Memory Unit B. The lights around the console's power button will flash as the console searches for a wireless controller.
  4. Press and hold the Xbox Guide button to turn on the wireless controller that you want to assign to slot one.
  5. Once the controller is on and the lights are still circling the power button on the console, press your controller's connect button, located just to the right of the charge port.

When the lights on your controller stop spinning, the wireless controller is configured to slot one and the upper-left quadrant light will glow.
  6. Select the controller you want in slot two and repeat steps 4 and 5. You can configure up to four wireless controllers.
