Question about Bosch 24 in. SHU43 Built-in Dishwasher

Bosch dishwasher she44c02uc runtimes are getting longer

The dw is quiet and cleans great. The only issue is that the "normal wash" takes longer than the "power wash plus". When new in May of 2007 the "normal wash ran for about 110 minutes and is now at 147 minutes.
Is there any way to reset to factory defaults?

My Bosch dishwasher(model # she44c02uc/43) extended wash/no drain

The issue with your Bosch dishwasher likely lye`s within`the electronic timer/control. A faulty flow switch, ntc or heater can also cause this, but not very probable.

If you feel capable there`s a way to visually inspect the control. It will require you to remove the control from the unit and then remove the control from it`s plastic housing and look for a burnt solder contact on the printed circuit board. This will be one of the pins from the heater relay, hence the unit sit`s at "1" ( because it can`t heat to advance or until canceled ) trying to heat the water.

**Further to this, if you or someone you know is proficient at soldering, a lot of times it can be remedied by simply repairing the solder...although Bosch recommend`s replacing the control and I don`t pretend to speak on there behalf nor do I profess to know better. This is just my experience (it work`s) and my opinion (why buy new if one can repair ?)**

**Please disconnect the power before attempting any service to the dishwasher. If you do not feel comfortable attempting this service, call a local pro, preferably one familiar with Bosch/Thermador/Gaggenau, to service your machine.**

Hope this answer`s your question, let me know if I can assist you further. Thank`s for visiting "fixya" for your repair inquiries. Please take a moment and rate this solution and leave a testimony to it`s success or failure, but I`m 99.9% certain ;)

Good luck.

Loud humming noise when dishwasher is filling up with water

your model is pretty new. just so you know your warrenty is 1 year parts and labor. 2 years on parts. it should not cost that much money.

there are two components that start before the circulation pump.(wash noise you hear)

first sounds you hear will be the drain pump. usually rattling noises if something is in it but it can make a hum noise if something is jamming the drain propeller up. which is accessible with a T20 torx driver. take the filters out and the mesh filter. and unscrew the screw in the base towards the left. pull out whatever is lodged.

the other humming sound can come from the next component that activates is the watervalve. make sure you dont have a kinked water intake line. otherwise its a bad valve. i have had to change a few of those water valves out already but not for a hum noise on your model. you have a new style water valve. when brands make new parts we get problems fast sometimes..

I actually don't know what type of Bosch I have. I know that is a problem, but maybe you can still help. It has a simple panel that says: Pot Scrubber, regular wash, quick wash, rinse and hold. When I turn...

On a Bosch dw, it has a light sensor to sense soil in the water.. if the control feels that the water going through the sensor is not clean/ or clean it will add or minus thing you can do is make sure that your drain line from dw to sink drain is cleared of debris.. also, make sure you clean the filter at bottom of dw and make sure its reinstall correctly if you haven't already do so.. if your dw finish the cycle and come out clean, then the time on your dw is fine,, but if it don't finish and come out dirty.. then, it could be something other, but don't know til I get the full details on problem.. help this will do it for ya.. good luck.. mike

Kenmore ultra wash quiet guard 3 dishwasher problem

call sears, 1-800-4MY-HOME. They have a trouble-shooting department that will get rid of this problem. It is caused by water temperature being wrong at the start of the cycle.... blah, blah, blah. The representative will tell you to push a certain set of buttons in a certain order and that unlocks the dishwasher.

Sorry I don't know the sequence
