Problem for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W200 Digital Camera

I have a sony cyber-shot DSC-W200 12.1 mega pixel.

I have a sony cyber-shot DSC-W200 12.1 mega pixel. It had been fine but recently the battrey was lastng only an hour or two. Have tried new charger and battrey sometimes it wont turn on. Yesterday realized the camera is turning itself on and off i think its doing this until it uses up all the battery. Is this a common problem and can it be fixed?

Does this camera have a setting for taking time-lapse photos over a long period of time and if so, did you accidentally set it to do so?
