Question about Acer Aspire 3610 Notebook
The problem could be that you accidentally pressed some button so the computer gets darker so it can save more energy...
that tends to happen when you press Fn + (a but with a screen a sun and a +)
i hope that helps..
otherwise.. your laptop could be having contact problems on the little thingies that hold the screen.
